Expert Real Estate Valuation and Witness Testimony: A testifying real estate expert must not possess the skills necessary to develop credible opinions they must be able to convey those opinions in way the Judge and/or Jury can understand. The first hurdle faced by any expert witness is the qualification process. An expert’s education, training and experience are examined in determining if they will be allowed to testify and they weight their testimony is given.
